DAMASK SUITCASE

Ramblings of a girl fashionably traveling the world

Fall Blues And Blazers

October 11, 2015

I love to wear blazers in Fall and Spring, when it’s just starting to get chilly or starting to warm up. Blazers are also a great addition to an outfit to dress or class it up a bit, especially if you need to go from day to night quickly. I especially love bright, solid colors when I’m looking for blazers.

These shots were taken on a crisp fall day out and around Gramercy Park, NYC, still bright and sunny and not yet cold enough for leggings and tights.  Gramercy Park is the only park in NYC that is still privately owned. To enter, you must have a key to the park, which only the residents around the park have. Those of you that have watched Sex and City or other classic New York centric shows already know all about this beloved part of Manhattan. XOXO

Outfit details: ZARA skirt (old, similar ZARA skirt here); Nanette Lepore shirt; Blazer (old, similar blue blazer); Madewell bag; Rocksbox necklace (use code DamaskSuitcaseXOXO for one month free).

Very inspiring post (and awesome setting!) – I almost wore a very bright red blazer yesterday but then put it away at the last minute. I think I’ll have to get it out for tomorrow! xo
