DAMASK SUITCASE

Ramblings of a girl fashionably traveling the world

A Cape by the Water

March 2, 2016

Maybe it’s the California in me, but I’m such a water baby! I love water views (especially at sunrise and sunset), whether by the beach, river or lake.  This post is dedicated to those gorgeous water views from Jersey City looking into Manhattan. There is nothing like seeing the Freedom Tower on the horizon as you stare out over gorgeous NYC.

I’ve been focusing on transitional style recently, as the city is slowly starting to thaw from the freezing cold temps and snow storms of the past couple months. A cape coat is a great item to throw into rotation during this weather, where you still need to dress in layers (but the faux fur and down can finally be packed away).

Outfit details: Cape, Rise of Dawn; Skirt, ZARA (sold out, similar Zara skirt here and here); Booties, Forever 21 (also worn here); Necklace, Loft (similar necklace here).

Happy shopping! XOXO
