Ramblings of a girl fashionably traveling the world

T3 Worth the Hype?

March 2, 2017

As a girl who has maintained long (and I’d like to say, pretty healthy) hair her entire life, nothing is more important in styling that long hair than the right hair tools. I’ve been around the block with trying various different products, and have always heard about the hype of T3’s tools but could never commit to taking the plunge. Luckily, I was recently contacted about testing out the products and my curiosity was finally satisfied!

The first thing you notice about T3 products is how classy they look! I love the all white and rose gold combo. But, appearances can be deceiving, and luxe packaging doesn’t necessarily = quality products.

I started my testing with the featherweight hair dryer, because a fast and powerful hair dryer that also reduces frizz is so important to initial hair maintenance. A good hair dryer, in my opinion, is the first step in good and efficient hair care. If you have ever used a good hair dryer and then tried a cheaper, less well built dryer with long hair, you know exactly what I’m talking about! A good hair dryer can take my hair styling time from an hour to 20 minutes!

I have to say, the T3 hair dryer met and exceeded my expectations! I can see why this hair dryer has won so many Allure and other beauty awards. Of all of the recent dryers I’ve used, it checked all the boxes and my hair didn’t even necessarily need a straightening iron after use! ????

Despite the fabulousness of the hair dryer, I did want to to also try out the singlepass luxe straightening iron, which is really where I’ve previously heard so much hype about T3 products. The iron heated up quickly, felt smooth in my hair, and left my hair feeling silky straight. True to its name, I really didn’t have to use it more than once on each strand before I had a straight and sleek look. Totally worth all of the hype and the somewhat hefty price tag ($180). Considering that I’ve spent as much as $300 for a straightener before, this was actually a steal!

Overall, T3 totally lived up to the hype of creating affordable, well made, fabulous products. I loved these products so much, in fact, that I am bringing them with me to Hong Kong so that I combat that Asia humidity with ease. ?
