Happy Sunday! Hope you are making the most of this rainy (in NY, at least) day. I’ve been taking advantage of this indoors day to have a Harry Potter marathon ? and play some Pokemon! Despite the rain, I did get outside to run some errands and grab brunch this morning and had to showcase the SheIn dress I wore during the day. The SheIn dress combines some of my favorite summer trends.
One of the most recognizable trends this summer has been the off-the-shoulder dress and/or top look. Carried over from Spring, it’s still going strong, and I’m obsessed! Off-the-shoulder to me is so sexy without revealing too much. It’s definitely influenced by historical styles, and in particular reminds me of the look that Esmeralda wore (and which I’ve duplicated for Halloweens past) in the Disney movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This SheIn dress also has tassels galore, and I particularly love the placement of tassels on the sleeves! I paired the trend with a hat to protect my hair against the light drizzle while I was outdoors this morning.
