Winter Style - Faux Fur & Plaid

Happy Friday! I’m about done with this chilly winter in NYC, but I have to admit I still can’t get enough of winter style. Give me a good faux fur coat any day and I instantly feel like a million bucks, or maybe a Kardashian? 🙂

This post is dedicated to a look I wore to New York Fashion Week a couple of weeks ago. Apart from the faux fur, I’ve been loving all of the plaid in stores right now, especially when in mini dress form! And finally, there is nothing like a good pair of black boots to get you through winter and complete your winter style look.

I sometimes find it hard to feature my jewelry styling in my #ootd looks, but these earrings from Kris Nations deserved special mention, because although they are small studs, they are so cute! The brand creates entirely hand-made jewelry and trinkets from recycled metals in its California (woot woot!) studio. These earrings were the perfect Valentine’s Day touch to my outfit during New York Fashion Week. Where do you think that arrow next to my heart should be pointing?
